Linda, you are so dang good at analyzing how real life happens that life should respect that by giving you a break now and then. You tell it like it is and I respect that very much! ♥
definately good days and bad days... as Jerry Sittser says, "we live between the beauty and the terror" if we lived closer together I would be at your house every day!!!!!!
Ah, I love this. Your masterful mix of the reverent with the irreverent makes me smile every time. Loving people well, in ways that feel like love--especially adult children--is SO not easy. You are so right there. Just today I posted about how stepping out in love (so to speak) actually landed me in the urgent care for X-rays. They say love hurts, right? haha
Oh no! I hope you're OK. Yeah, my journey with adult children has been pretty rocky, but I'd rather love them than leave them out in the cold. Ouch, love does hurt but it is worth it.

Ed,
Thank you so dang much. I hope you'll keep writing--and reading The Deep End.
Bless You,
Linda
as always, spot on
Pam,
I'm thinking of you today as I drop off and pick up my husband from his dialysis session. Some days are harder than others, right?
Peace,
Linda

Pam,
I like Oregon better than Arizona. You still live there?
