Your words are balm, Linda. With a bit of necessary seasoning. So well written. I’d already taken the pledge to do something for my neighbors everyday, expanding that meaning of neighbor. Or as Bishop Budde noted, teaching out to the stranger among us who needs mercy as do we all.
Jane, I'm humbled by your kind words. Thank you for being the neighbor someone needs today. I pray to be as useful in God's plans of love and unity. Much Love, Linda
I'm on the retired side, but if you want coaching, shoot me a message. You can write! You have a story. What you lack is confidence in those things. Get busy! Much Love, Linda
Your willingness to be so transparent I just realized is what draws me to your words-God is still on His throne-we can always rest in that regardless of the state of the world-I HATE you have to even think about money at a time like this, but you are right being a widow changes so much
I've always been a bleeding heart, but I grew up sort of privileged compared with others I know. God indeed is on the throne, but I believe we must be Jesus' hands and feet in this life. So glad I know a friend like you! Much Love, Linda

“Don’t fight the darkness. Don’t even worry about the darkness.
Turn on the light and the darkness goes.”
— David Lynch
Made me think of your words on mercy
Pam, you're so right.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.--John 1:5
I would love to take a class again and get back to my memoirs. I never wrote another word since our class ended.
Maida,
