As I've told you often, your ability to capture and present the deepest and most profound sensitivities is so needed for those who live with life changing impacts. Thank you.
This is the essence of what writing should do--capture and present the deepest and most profound sensitivities. I hope you continue to work on this, as I do every day (and still not really there!) Thanks so much, Linda
Great timing. I am revisiting a lot of childhood trauma as I deal with my mom's family upon her death. There is a reason I had not talked to her family since 1982 and one had to be thrown out of church Zoom for abusive behavior. I have a few angels in my church community. I do think sometimes about love and how to love without being a doormat
I have a similar schism in my family, and after my mom's death last October, it was, shall we say awkward. I'm still trying to reconnect with my only sibling that I was raised with. It's a journey, isn't it?
George, It's true for most things. I'm thankful for my angels. Some of the hallmarks of democracy are hope, optimism and practices of loving care. Let's hope the angels visit all for those who struggle and hurt.
I so appreciate your reading these posts. You give me courage to keep writing about stuff that most people don't want to talk about. I hope you are beginning to find the box to put some of your grief into. Prayers and big hugs to you, Linda

Hi Merrimon,
I have a similar schism in my family, and after my mom's death last October, it was, shall we say awkward. I'm still trying to reconnect with my only sibling that I was raised with. It's a journey, isn't it?
Peace,
Linda
